BPTL manufactures tool holders with the industry-standard 7/24 taper interface (which includes BT (MAS403/JIS B 6339), DV (DIN 69871) and CV (ANSI B5.50/ISO 7388)) and also HSK (DIN 69893) Tool Holder Taper pays two crucial roles during machining: provide rigidity to the tool and to precisely hold the chuck in position while machining.
The different sizes of tapers are used for light to heavy machining, depending on the user’s needs. BPTL has been manufacturing tool holders since 1937. BPTL tool holders are grounded with AT 3 class accuracy, making them suitable for Hi-Speed and Hi-Accuracy Machining.
Advantages of Tool Holders/Tool Holding:
- All tool holders grounded to AT3 class accuracy, which provides greater contact area with machine spindle.
- Controlled case depth and black oxide surface, which protects the surface from atmospheric reactions during machining.
- Tool Holders balanced by designed at G6.3 @ 15000 rpm, and balancing at G2.5 @ 20000rpm available on request.
- Machines used for manufacturing: HAAS VMC; Studer, John Shipman, Okamoto, Haimer & Other German Make Machines.
